From One-100 with One being the Best

I have to say the doctor saying "The biopsy came back as Basil Cell Cancer" is a scary phrase. It doesn't make it any easier when he says "On a scale of 1-100, with 100 being the worst and one being the best, yours is a one." I know it sounds dumb to be freaked out because I know that this is nothing. Of all the cancers to have skin cancer is a walk in the park, but it's still scary.
I had a mole removed on my neck last week that has been there for as long as I can remember. It started to get irritated when it was touched about 12 years ago, at least that's the first time I remember it bothering me. I never thought any thing about it except that one day I was going to have it removed. That one day was when I thought that I would do it now when we had already met our deductible. Mike and I went in to the doctor together. A date, if you will, he had two removed and I had two removed and that was that. Until the doctor called today and gave me the news. Mike's came back normal and one of mine came back normal but the one on the back of my neck was not normal. I have to go back next week to have it cut out which will leave a scar. Not worried about the scar, it's covered by my hair anyway. He said "We need you to come back in so we can cut and burn, cut and burn." That's the part that freaks me out. I'm not going to die and I'm not creating my last will and testament. But I guess after next week I will be able to say I survived cancer not that I wouldn't have anyway. I am a very blessed woman!
